Beauty Wish List for August

Okay, so yet another wish list … I just can’t help falling in love with new products (oops!). This wish list is all about beauty products because if I’m not ‘wishing’ for clothes; I’m falling in love with new makeup and beauty items.  It’s probably because I have zero willpower when I go past the MAC or Benefit counters in my local department store. However, you just can’t deny yourself new makeup, can you? There’s nothing quite like it. These are the beauty products that I am lusting after this August:

Zoeva- Rose Golden Luxury Set- €65.00/ £52.00

How gorgeous are these Zoeva brushes? I use my Real Techniques brushes everyday so I really didn’t think I would be lusting after a new set of brushes… Well, that was until I laid eyes on the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set and I think it was love at first sight! I have seen so many bloggers post reviews about these lovely Zoeva brushes and they sound absolutely amazing. I love (like, really love) the rose gold design of the brushes- I can just imagine how nice they will look on my dressing table. I definitely think these Zoeva brushes will be making an appearance on my Christmas list this year (yes, I know it’s way too early to be talking about Christmas lists!).
MAC- Pink Plaid- Matte Finish- £15.50

I have a self-confessed obsession with MAC lipsticks. So, it’s really no surprise at all that a MAC lipstick has made my August wish list. As you may have seen in one of my posts from earlier in the month, I love Kylie Jenner’s style. Kylie’s makeup looks are definitely a huge talking point in the beauty and blogging world right now, especially her 90s style lip look. I am a massive fan of Kylie’s matte nude lip look, which she either wears in shades of brown or pink. I don’t think a brown-nude lip would suit my skin tone but I love pink-nude lips (as you can see from my Top 5 MAC lipsticks post). So, finding the perfect Kylie Jenner-esque pink-nude matte lipstick was proving rather elusive until I came across Pink Plaid. It’s just the most gorgeous pink-nude shade in a matte finish that MAC describes as a ‘dirty blue-pink'. I can’t wait to try this shade. Thank you MAC, you never let me down.

Anastasia Beverly Hills-Brow Wiz- £15.50

Filling in my eyebrows is my favourite makeup technique: I love accentuating my eyebrows. I just think thicker and bigger eyebrows look incredible and really frame my face. It’s my must-have make up look. My eyebrow inspiration is definitely Lily Collins; I have serious brow envy of her perfect eyebrows. Anyways, I always use a MAC 266 brush and MAC’s Charcoal Brown shadow to fill in my brows. I love using these products but I’m always on the look out for the ultimate eyebrow product. I have read so many reviews about Brow Wiz and I think it’s high time that I try this product for myself. I’ve never been a massive fan of eyebrow pencils (I prefer powder) but I am intrigued about the precision of the Brow Wiz. The ultra-fine nib apparently allows you to draw brow hairs individually for a natural yet full eyebrow. I also think it’s really handy that a spooley is attached to the pencil- it’s essential for creating those perfect brows.

Benefit- High Beam Highlighter- £19.50

Benefit is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands. I have been lusting after the High Beam highlighter for a while now. I love using a highlighter as it really does illuminate my complexion and defines my cheek and brow bones. I’ve heard nothing but good things about High Beam and I definitely want to try it. I think highlighters will continue to be a makeup staple throughout the colder months. I think it’s essential to give your makeup look that extra boost of shimmer: glowing skin is perfect for brightening up those autumn days.

What beauty products are you loving this month?
