September Wish List

Goodbye August and hello September! I can’t get over how quick this year is going; summer has come to an end and it’s all about autumn now. I love this time of year. September is about new beginnings: the start of a new academic year at university/school, the start of a new season, the start of September Fashion Week and the beginning of the countdown to Christmas (only joking… well not really!). So, with the start of a new month comes a new list of items that I am lusting after...

River Island-Tartan Faux Fur Trim Cape- £35.00

I think I owe it to my autumn wardrobe to treat myself to this beautiful tartan cape. How can you not  fall in love with it? I love tartan. I love faux fur. I love oversized capes. I love this item. This tartan cape is the perfect autumn cover up: just throw it on and you’ve instantly achieved an effortlessly stylish look that Olivia Palermo (queen of autumn/winter fashion) would be proud of. Bang on trend.

Topshop- Slim Peplum Jacket- £48.00
Topshop is bringing the peplum back. Thank you Topshop. This slim peplum jacket is a definite must-have for this season. Of course, I love this jacket because it is the perfect item for the modern tailoring trend (yep, I’m still obsessed!). I think this jacket is going to have to be bought when I visit London. I just can’t stop falling in love with Topshop’s new collection.

Topshop-Vinyl Front Ponte Leggings-£25.00

I have been obsessing over every item that featured in Topshop’s A/W campaign featuring Cara Delevingne since the promotional photos were released. I’m so glad that these items are finally starting to appear in stores. These Vinyl Front Ponte leggings are gorgeous; a great staple item for any autumnal wardrobe. I love how versatile these leggings are: perfect for day or night. A must-have for uni.

Topshop- AHOY Leather Hiker Boots-£88.00
Okay, I promise this is my last item from Topshop…  Since the weather is rapidly turning colder here in England, it’s definitely time to invest in shoes more suited to the weather. I normally live in Chelsea boots during the wintery months, so I wanted to try something a bit different this season.  I spotted these hiker boots in the Cara campaign and I knew they were my perfect boots for autumn. I love the detailing on the boots- especially the suede panels. They look super cosy and very stylish. These boots are not actually available to buy at the minute (I think they have sold out!), so I guess I'll just be lusting after them for a bit longer.

Essie- Merino Cool- £7.99

This shade is just the most perfect colour for September. I love adding darker, autumnal shades to my beauty collection Essie describe Merino Cool as a ‘sensuous autumn mulberry’. This shade is a cool grey with lilac undertones- a gorgeous, transitional colour. So chic.

Ghost- Eclipse- £30.60

I have been searching for a new fragrance for a while now and I just couldn’t find one that I instantly fell in love with. Well, that was until I came across this beautiful fragrance. Eclipse is a floral and fruity fragrance with notes of mandarin orange, peach, amber and musk. I love the smell of this perfume. It’s so vibrant and warm: perfect for brightening up a cold day. I think I will definitely have to treat myself to this- you definitely need to have a new signature autumn scent, right?!

What are you wishing for this September?
