So, if you’ve read my recent posts you’ll know that I recently spent some time in my favourite city: London. Naturally, I did a little bit of shopping while I was there. I have been getting my A/W wardrobe ready recently and these recent purchases will definitely become staples for me this season. I’m sorry that some of the photos are a bit blurry; I was having lots of trouble with my camera today (#bloggerproblems).

I’ve already written about my love for the flagship Topshop store on Oxford Street; it is fashion heaven. So, I couldn’t resist a few purchases from the new collection. I can already tell that the check print shirt will be one of my most worn items this autumn; I love, love, love it. It’s shorter at the front and longer at the back, which I really like and the check/grid print is going to be huge this season. Oh and it’s monochrome… it really is the perfect shirt. I featured the drape front blouse on an August wish list and I was so happy that I found it in store. I’m absolutely in love with the slipper shoes; they are literally the comfiest shoes I have ever owned and the lion embellishment is just fabulous!

I don’t live near a Forever 21 store so I always visit the London store when I’m there. I picked up this oversized black blazer, which will be perfect to wear for uni with a pair of jeans. You know I love it, because you know my feelings about the modern tailoring trend (yep, I am still not over this trend). The blouse was a bit of an unexpected purchase for me, as I haven’t bought anything from Miss Selfridge in ages. I love the lace detailing on the back of this blouse and the peplum cut makes it super cute: a perfect example of the modern tailoring trend with a feminine edge. The grey cardigan from H&M is so comfy to wear and I love the colour, a great autumn wardrobe staple. The shirt dress from Primark is amazing, the gold button detailing make it look quite expensive (even though it was only a tenner- oh Primark). This dress will look great with some tights or leggings- a lovely addition to my uni wardrobe. Yes, I know I have a slight obsession/addiction to MAC lipsticks- but I love them. You just can’t say no to new MAC products when you go past the MAC store at St. Pancras Station. It would almost be rude not to, right?! I bought Hue, as I really wanted a new pinky-nude lipstick. As you have probably have guessed, I love this lipstick, It was a great purchase (I will be posting a review very soon). So, that’s what I bought in the beautiful city of London.

What have you bought recently?
