October Wish List: The Zara Edit

Although, I have bought quite a few things for AW wardrobe already, there is definitely no harm in lusting after more. I literally can’t get over how on point the high street has been this season. I just keep falling in love with more clothes every time I go shopping (oops). As you may have read last month, I have found myself shopping at New Look and Primark more this season (I LOVE their AW collections). However, it has to be said that Zara will forever be my go-to store for AW. October has arrived and I have fallen completely in love with their new arrivals. There is just something about Zara which means I never stay away from a store for too long…

The check/grid print has to be one of my favourite prints of this season. I love it. This print looks especially stylish in monochrome; so this jumpsuit is so on point.  I just love the cut and detailing of this jumpsuit: Zara always make a point of focusing on the small details. It really does make a difference. I love the shirt-style collar, buttons and pockets. Also, the belt is perfect for just adding that extra something to the look. You all know how I feel about the modern tailoring trend and this jumpsuit is the perfect AW take on this trend. This jumpsuit is definitely a must-have.

Draped Coat with Ribbons- £149.00

Okay, I think I have a serious obsession with coats this season. I’ve bought three from Primark’s AW collection alone (oops). But I just can’t help it; there are some amazing coats on the high street at the moment (which is a great thing because the weather is definitely turning colder). There’s nothing more stylish and sophisticated than a black coat and this Zara coat is definitely no exception. The draped cut of the coat elevates it from a normal coat to a coat that is so on trend. I love how the coat ties fastens with a belt, which emphasises the amazing draped style. This coat is oh-so-Zara (if you know what I mean), as I’ve said before I love Zara because of the attention to detail in their collections. This coat is perfectly tailored and is incredible. I’m seriously wishing for this coat. Besides, every girl needs a gorgeously stylish and versatile black coat in their wardrobe and I’m yet to buy one this season. Also, Zara styled this coat on their website with the jumpsuit that I mentioned above and the fringed blucher shoes that I mentioned in my must-have shoes for autumn. So, basically I think I need to stop writing this post and go to Zara immediately to buy the whole look…

Zara understands that monochrome is the most important colour scheme for AW14. Seriously, when in doubt, always choose monochrome. It’s timeless, so stylish and totally on point this season. No one does knitwear quite like Zara: I love, love, love Zara sweaters. They are wonderfully cosy yet still fashionable (yay). You all know my absolute love for monochrome, so there’s no doubt that I’m lusting after this lovely sweater.

I love that Houndstooth and Dogstooth prints have become such a staple print for AW14. I’m a huge fan of printed trousers for autumn, as they look great styled with an oversized jumper. A perfectly practical and stylish outfit for those cold days at uni.  I have ventured away from monochrome now but only very slightly with navy blue houndstooth trousers. These trousers would be a fab addition to any AW wardrobe as they are really versatile.

Despite my love for monochrome this season, I still like to add a gorgeous pop of colour to my outfits. I love how a colourful accessory can really accentuate a monochrome look. This mustard-coloured buckled city bag caught my attention because I think this is the perfect colour for autumn. I love Zara’s bags: they are always quite simple but have the most lovely shape and design. With Zara precise lines and subtle detailing is key. This bag would certainly look incredible styled with all of the items on this month’s wish list. What can I say? Zara is just so on point this month.

Are you loving Zara this October?
