Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer

These gorgeous new additions to my lipstick collection add a serious pop of colour...

Clinique's Pop Lips (cutest name ever!) have been receiving a lot of attention from the beauty blogging community and it's really not difficult to see why: sixteen gorgeous shades, super pigmented, hydrating and long-lasting! Yep, Clinique really have thought of everything when creating Pop Lips. Oh and that’s without mentioning the oh-so-chic packaging. I love that you can see the colour of the lipstick from the packaging alone.

The combination of primer and colour may sound a bit unusual but it works really well. The lipsticks themselves are so smooth and nourishing on the lips, they do have a lip balm-esque texture. These lipsticks are not at all drying and your lips actually feel in better condition after wearing them. They apply like a dream: they just glide on! However, this doesn’t mean that you compromise on the intensity of the colour. In fact, it’s the complete opposite as these lipsticks live up to their name: you are going to get a serious pop of colour that actually lasts!

After reading countless reviews, I decided that I just couldn’t resist any longer. Although, it did take me quite a while to decide as the shade range is incredible. There really is a colour for everyone: from the classic red of Cherry Pop to the bright, bold pink of Wow Pop. I decided on Melon Pop – a beautiful soft, peachy-nude that is such a pretty colour for the summer months – and Beige Pop – a lovely everyday nude-pink lipstick.

I loving these shades and they have quickly become my go-to lipsticks. Yep, they have even replaced my beloved Mac Patisserie. I already have my eye on Fab Pop, Sweet Pop and Poppy Pop…

Clinique Pop Lips are £16 each and can be bought at Boots.
