What's On My iPhone 6

The post where I share my must-have apps…

I have finally upgraded my phone to the iPhone 6.  So, I thought I would write about my most-used apps. I love these posts because I’m a little bit nosy and I think you can tell a lot about a person from the apps they use…

Instagram (@julieannseago)

Well, I just have to start with Instagram. Instagram is by far my most favourite app on my iPhone. I’m forever scrolling through my Instagram feed (who isn’t?!). I love looking at everyone’s photos. If I’m not busy scrolling then I’m probably taking/editing my own photos for Instagram. Let’s be honest, we all love Instagramming (is that even a word?) Anyways, I’m always looking for new Instagrams to follow, so leave your links in the comments below!

I just love Twitter. It’s the best way to keep up-to-date with everyone, from your friends to celebrities. Twitter is also a great way to connect with the blogging community: I’m constantly finding new blogs to follower through blogger chats. I’m always tweeting, although, I have to agree with Kimmy K because Twitter needs an edit feature.  Leave your Twitter links in the comments below!

Deliciously Ella

Ella Woodward definitely needs no introduction. Her blog and cookbook, Deliciously Ella, have seriously changed the way we all think about what we eat and how it affects our bodies. I bought Ella’s book after a really bad gluten reaction. I decided it was time to take control of my gluten intolerance and start eating in a healthier way. Since I started eating the ‘Deliciously Ella’ way, I have so much more energy and I feel much healthier. And the food is delicious! The Deliciously Ella app has lots of new and easy-to-follow recipes, detox menus and the photos are incredible. This app is really useful for on the go healthy food inspiration. I save my favourite recipes and use the app as a shopping list so I know what ingredients I need to buy.

VSCO Cam is now the only app I use to edit my Instagram photos. I even use it to edit my blog photos sometimes. The filters on VSCO Cam are so good. My favourite filters are A6 and C4. I also use VSCO Cam to increase the exposure and contrast on my images. This app really has helped me to up my Instagram game. I love it.

The Bloglovin’ app is the easiest way to keep updated with all the blogs I follow. It has a mobile-friendly design so it’s super easy to navigate. This app is a must if you want to read your fave blogs when you’re on the go. You can follow my Bloglovin’ here.

Like I need another reason to spend hours on ASOS? This app makes shopping on ASOS so easy. I love browsing through the New In section for fashion inspiration. The app also has a ‘My Recommendations’ section, which is really useful as it suggests items based on your recent searches/purchases (although it can be quite dangerous for your bank balance!). If you love ASOS, then you need this app.

Pinterest (julieannseago)

I’ll be honest, until recently I really didn’t get Pinterest. I just didn’t see the point of it. But I decided to give it another try and now I’m completely obsessed with it. Seriously, I’m constantly on Pinterest nowadays. I’m forever adding new pins to my dream home board or having a moment of serious wanderlust by adding to my travel boards. Pinterest is also my go-to app for style inspiration. Leave your Pinterest links in the comments below!
