The Sunday Post: November Favourites

These are the items that I’ve been loving this November….

Hello everyone! It’s officially the best day of the week, is there anything better than a lazy Sunday?! Nopes. It’s almost the end of November, so I thought I would share with you the items that have been my absolute faves this month.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub:  This is a winter staple. I love winter but I hate what it does to my lips. Dry, chapped lips are just not the one. Urgh. Thankfully, Lush’s lip scrubs leave your lips feeling so smooth and soft, despite the winter weather.  The Bubblegum scrub is my absolute all time fave. It smells (and tastes) incredible: just like Snow Fairy.  This product is also perfect for prepping your lips before applying lip products- especially matte lipsticks. Because, winter is all about those matte red lips.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette:  Rose gold everything. This palette is a definitely one for rose-golden looks. A must for Christmas party looks (yep, you can tell I’ve been in a festive mood already this November) but also for adding a touch of sparkle to your everyday makeup routine. Trick, a rose-gold shimmer, and Nooner, a pinky-brown matte, are my favourite shades in the palette and actually some of my all-time favourite eyeshadows. I’m very happy that I rediscovered my love for this gorgeous palette this November.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: I love this mascara. Okay, so I’ll be honest, when I first used this mascara I really didn’t like it. I just thought it wasn’t worth all the hype. So, it went to back of my makeup drawer. And I kind of forgot about it. But, if you’ve read My Everyday Makeup Routine post, you’ll know that this mascara has now become my go-to mascara. So, what changed? I think the formula just needed to dry out a bit. I decided to give the mascara another try last month and I’ve been loving it ever since. So, it just had to feature in this month’s favourites. It makes my lashes look so long and fluttery. It’s like I’m wearing false lashes but without all the hassle.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum:  I received this perfume as a gift last Christmas, so it definitely reminds me of winter and Christmas when I wear it. I love how perfumes can bring back memories. Anyways, this perfume smells so good. Oh wow. I love, love, love it. It’s unique and distinctive. It smells like vanilla coffee with a hint of spicy pepper and sweet florals. It’s just an addictive scent and I’ve worn it every day this month. I receive so many compliments when I wear this fragrance: everyone loves this scent.

Essie Cocktail Bling: I seriously can’t write this section of the post without singing Hotline Bling. That can only mean one thing. Anyways, I’m loving this shade: it’s a gorgeous grey-lilac and it’s perfect for this time of year.

L'Oreal ColourRiche Collection Exclusive Nudes in Doutzen’s shade:  Okay, so I’ve been talking a lot about these lipsticks on Our Dreams of Fashion this month.  So, of course, they were going to feature in my November favourites. I love both Doutzen and Eva’s shades. Doutzen’s shade is a super pretty pinky-nude and it’s perfect for those no-makeup makeup days. And that packaging is just b-e-a-utiful #madeforinstagram.

I’ve also been loving Starbucks Toffee Nut Lattes this month (seriously, I practically live at Starbucks) and I have to say I’m loving all the festive films on Channel 5. Someone at Channel 5 definitely loves Christmas films just as much as me and I appreciate that!
