Life Through An Instagram Lens, Part 2

A life update through an Instagram lens...Okay, so it's been a long time since I last posted on Our Dreams of Fashion...But I'm back and very happy to blogging again. So, I thought I would share with you all a little life update as photographed via my Instagram (@julieannseago).
2016 has been year of adventures so far. All that wanderlust. As you can tell from all my #windowseat pictures recently (sorry, not sorry), I have been travelling a lot this year. Taking pictures from the clouds is one of my favourite things to do. I just love the picture of London that I took as I was landing into Heathrow. I've been so lucky to have had the opportunity to visit beautiful India numerous times this year and I'm currently in India as I write this post. So, expect to see lots more pictures of dreamy architecture, amazing views and lots of coconuts and palm trees.  I'm definitely all about that coconut life. India has definitely been at the top of my travel wish list for a while now and I absolutely love it here. There's just something so special about travelling and exploring the world.

So, it wouldn't be an Our Dreams of Fashion blog post without mentioning a few beauty and fashion items that I have been loving.  I have to mention the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam. Like seriously, this kit brings all the glow. The pigmentation is incredible and the formula is so buttery. I'm just completely obsessed with this product. Mimosa (a gorgeous golden peach) and Starburst (an iridescent cool-toned pink) are my favourite shades. What can I say? ABH is fast becoming my most-used makeup brand.  I use a lot of ABH products in my everyday makeup routine, Brow Wiz is a game changer. Hello Cara-esque brows.  Oh and speaking of my love for ABH, I (and pretty much the entire beauty community), are lusting after the new Modern Renaissance palette. I will definitely getting my hands on this little beauty when I return the UK.

The other brand that I have been loving recently is NYX. Yes, finally, we have NYX in the UK. Seriously, I should not be left unsupervised at a NYX counter. If you have any NYX recommendations please leave them in the comments below. I love, love, love their butter glosses (I've never really been a gloss kind-of-gal) but wow these are amazing. They are uber moisturising, have the right amount of pigmentation, they smell incredible (think vanilla cake frosting) and the shade range is impressive. Fortune Cookie is my fave shade. I am also a massive fan of their soft matte lip creams, in fact I've worn Athens practically every day since I bought it. I'll be honest it took me quite a while to get on board with the liquid lipstick trend, but now I'm totally converted. Also, I have to give a shout out to the Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipsticks (phew- longest name ever) because they are also responsible for my new-found love for liquid lipsticks. Melon is the most perfect everyday nude shade.

These Quay Australia Cherry Bomb Sunglasses have to be my most favourite fashion purchase of the summer so far. They are just made for the heart-eyed emoji. I just love everything about them. Statement sunnies are definitely a summer essential. I've been loving bomber jackets this season and this embroidered jacket of my dreams from New Look has become a recent staple in my wardrobe. Speaking of wardrobe staples, you just can't go wrong with a good pair of jeans and a statement belt. I'm a Levi's girl but Topshop also have an amazing range of cuts, washes and style. Perfect for petite girls like me. Jamie and Leigh are my favourite styles.  This ASOS belt is another great purchase (if I do say so myself) it's perfect for styling up jeans, skirts and dresses.
